The Cape Leopard Trust aims to optimally facilitate conservation of the Cape's predator diversity through simultaneously implementing conservation strategies, research projects and tourism initiatives.

It will also educate and encourage the youth of disadvantaged communities to have a vested interest in the environment.

High in the Cederberg Mountains, 240km north of Cape Town, on the farm Dwarsrivier lies the Cederberg Astronomical Observatory (19 deg 15' E 32 deg 30' S).

Table Mountain Rescue is capable of performing technical rescues involving complex rope and helicopter techniques.  Its members include competent alpinists, climbers, hikers and off road vehicle drivers.  We currently utilize a combination of personal gear and equipment owned by the provincial rescue services for practicing and during operations.  Some members have more than 20 years experience as rescuers.
